Nowhere on their website or on Home depots website to they specify the drain hole diameter, which lead you to believe they are 3.5" diameter, standard. They are 3.75". I was not aware of this and the black strainer baskets I bought would not sit correctly in the hole, the bottom gasket would go up into the hole, no matter how much plumber's putty I used and it would leak. I looked on line and could buy the Kohler strainers for $90 each. Which seems steep. I ended up buying two gaskets that are thicker and put one on the top in place of the plumber's putty and one in the standard location as at this point I can't return the strainers I bought and they were not cheap either.
