I asked for this as a gift after looking at many other reviews here and other locations. I had previously tried a 40V unit from another Mfg. for which I already had other implements and batteries but was quite disappointed by it's overall performance. This one literally blows me away ;-) It has more than adequate power and leaf loosening capabilities compared to my gas powered unit it is replacing. I don't know why, but it's airflow characteristics seem to be much better overall for loosening, sweeping and particularly moving pesky acorns on my gravel driveway. It's not too heavy and easy to wield as needed even straight up or down. You will need to use the turbo mode for moving larger piles of leaves, but it does so very well, although that does drain the battery faster. I have gotten a good 30+ minutes on standard full power, but using turbo mode will cut that in half. I got a 2nd spare battery, so no problems there. I just charge one while using the other. My house is surrounded by big trees, so fall leaves are the bain of my existence. I use the hand held blower for all the nooks and cranny's around the property and areas (which are many) where my big walk behind is just too cumbersome to navigate. It's also great when having to get leaves or moss off of a low pitched roof. It's so much quieter and easier to use than the gas powered hand held and no more fighting with trying to get that one started and mixing up 2 cycle fuel.
