The metal parts are very thin and can cause some injury if you are not careful. I learned this after receiving a gash and bleeding over my work and floor.Which brings me to observe that the metal is very flimsy and I would suggest a partner to help putting the workbench together. If not you run the risk of tabs bending. I was not very good at playing Twister, and you must be able to contort yourself, holding parts and connecting them.Workman ship is average or below average. After spending my hours putting my bench together, when I reached the last stages of my work, I found that one part was defective. I called the customer service line, and was told I should just "take it all back to the store and get a new one." I explained that I had spent a number of hours on this project and the resulting work bench would not fit in my car. No solution from the first CSR. I asked to speak to a supervisor and had to reiterate my issue. He did say he would order the part that was defective from the manufacturer.I would not have had an issue with the defect as it was more cosmetic than structural, but this item, being attractive, was going to be residing in a kitchen as a baking work area.The look when assembled is great, and will provide just what we need. I just wish it were a bit more substantial in the thickness of the stainless steel parts. When it's thin enough to cut you, you know it might need to be more substantial.I'm satisfied with the product, with some reservations.
